Within the framework of Istanbul Exporters Union training programs, on Monday, December 25, 2023, our trainer Mehmet DÜKKANCI gave a training on”Finding Customers from Bilateral Meeting Programs and Fairs” for the members of Istanbul Hazelnut Exporters Association The training took place between 09:30 and 17:00 at the Düzce Commodity Exchange conference hall.
During the training, our trainer Mehmet DÜKKANCI shared information on how to prepare for fairs, hosted buyers delegations and trade delegations. How to work for the fairs and delegations, and what to do after the events in order to find plenty of prospective customers who can order and can develope export sales.

How can we talk about our 30 years old company, during a 10 münutes trade delegations meetings? Within these 10 minutes, how can we find customers, how can we get orders?
Mehmet Dükkancı, who started the training with these questions, first talked about the basic concepts of bilateral meetings programs. He talked about the determinations we need to make within the company and the goals we need to set before joining the delegation to find plenty of customers from bilateral meeting programs.
While explaining how to budget and the contents of the budget of the delegation, Dükkancı stated that we should make purchases after preliminary preparation and research. He also talked about the planning and preparations to be made after booking for the program.
